This Cookie Policy explains how Chamelix uses cookies and similar technologies when you browse the platform.
What We Use
The platform currently uses:
- browser cookies required for core platform behavior;
- a local browser storage entry for cookie preferences;
- optional analytics tools loaded only when analytics consent is enabled.
Cookie and Storage Categories
1) Strictly Necessary / Functional
These are used to make the platform work correctly and cannot be fully disabled from our side while using the service.
Examples used by the current implementation:
NEXT_LOCALE: remembers selected language.sessionIdandlastSessionIdUpdate: first-party session identifiers used by server-side page visit tracking.sessionIdis rotated periodically.- authentication/session cookies managed by our authentication stack.
2) Analytics (Optional)
Loaded only when analytics preference is enabled in cookie settings.
Current integrations used in code:
- Google Analytics (when
NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_IDis configured). - Vercel Analytics.
When analytics preference is disabled, these optional analytics scripts are not loaded by the client analytics component.
3) Preference Storage
Cookie preference state is stored locally in your browser under:

This key stores your consent choice and analytics toggle state.
How to Manage Preferences
You can change your choices at any time from the footer button:

From there you can keep only functional settings enabled or allow analytics.
Third-Party Processors
When analytics is enabled, related data may be processed by third-party providers used by the platform (for example Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics), according to their terms and policies.
Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. We will publish the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
